Che strano…

Facebook è strano, talvolta. Stamattina, il principe dei social network (ovviamente in forma anonima e virtuale) mi ha mandato un messaggio dicendo che un evento era stato tolto dal gruppo FB di Lettera22. Era l’annuncio dell’incontro di domani alla Libreria Terra Santa, a Milano, a via Gherardini 6. Oggetto dell’incontro, il mio libro su Hamas. Solo l’ultimo incontro della ventina (almeno) che ho fatto negli ultimi sei mesi in giro per l’Italia, e non solo, sul volume che ho pubblicato quest’anno per Feltrinelli. Dice che la notizia dell’evento non rispetta il Terms of Use.

Questo il testo del messaggio:

The event “Hamas” has been removed because it violated our Terms of Use. Among other things, events that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. We also take down events that attack an individual or group, or advertise a product or service. Continued misuse of Facebook’s features could result in your account being disabled.

Ho cercato di capire a chi potermi rivolgere per indagare sui motivi per i quali un evento del genere “disturbasse” le condizioni del servizio. Niente. In un’atmosfera a dir poco kafkiana (ma che a me ricorda a dire il vero altre cose) dall’altra parte non c’è nessuno, ad ascoltarti. Un vetro spesso, senza un responsabile a cui chiedere conto, chiedere “perché l’hai fatto?”

Qualcuno, tra i miei amici naviganti, ne sa di più? Sa perché FB fa queste strane cose? Sa con chi si deve, per così dire, parlare, discutere?

Intanto, per pura coincidenza temporale, ho scoperto sempre oggi che FB suscita sempre più interesse. Anche nelle forze armate israeliane, come scrive Haaretz.
