 Paola Caridi, scrittrice e giornalista.  Da oltre 20 anni si occupa di Medio Oriente e Nord Africa. Ha pubblicato, per Feltrinelli, Arabi Invisibili, Hamas, Gerusalemme senza Dio, Gerusalemme. La Storia dell'Altro. Ha scritto un testo teatrale, Cafè Jerusalem, e un libro per bambini, Il Volo di Nura (ETS) 
Journalist, born in Rome in 1961, Paola Caridi is a founding member and the president of the News Agency "Lettera22". She wrote for national and local Italian newspaper. PhD in History of International Relations, she is specialised on Middle East and Northern Africa region. Correspondent in Cairo (2001-2003), she has been based from 2003 to 2012 in Jerusalem. Lecturer at the University of Palermo on History of International Relations, Paola Caridi is also a member of the renowned Italian think tank International Affairs Institute (IAI), and a fellow at Civitella Ranieri Center (CRF2021) A member of the Torino  International Bookfair's editorial committee, together with dr. Lucia Sorbera she curates since 2016 the "Arab Souls" section of the Bookfair's program. Director of La Stanza del Mondo series at the independent publishing house Hopefulmonster in Torino (Italy).
